University of Miami students began moving into the Coral Gables Campus on Jan. 8, with more than 700 new undergraduate students joining the U this semester. Students, along with about 1,400 family members, participated in the Canes Take Flight celebration held in the ballroom at the Donna E. Shalala Student Center.

First day of classes begin Jan. 13.
